About the product
What Premium Seaweed Extract (Liquid) is
Premium Seaweed Extract is a cold-processed biostimulant made from marine seaweed — not a fertiliser in the traditional sense, but a concentrate of natural growth compounds, amino acids and trace elements that helps a plant use the nutrients it's already getting more efficiently.
The label shows 27% w/v total soluble solids (the seaweed extract, amino acids, carbohydrates and nutrients themselves) with the remaining 73% as aqueous adjuvants that keep the formula stable and biodegradable. It's built to help plants push through the moments that usually stall growth: a heatwave, a fresh transplant, or the stretch right before flowering when nutrient demand spikes.
Unlike Growth Sarthi's living bacterial cultures, this is a plant-derived extract — no microbes involved, which is why it pairs well alongside a microbial or NPK feed rather than replacing one. It's imported and packed domestically by Gilehri Organics under Mfg. Lic. No. 148/Biostimulant/25.

Contact supportIt's a biostimulant, not a traditional fertilizer — a cold-processed concentrate of natural growth compounds, amino acids and trace elements from marine seaweed that helps your plant use the nutrients it's already getting more efficiently. It pairs well alongside an NPK feed or microbial product rather than replacing one, since it doesn't supply bulk N-P-K on its own.
Mix 2-3ml of Premium Seaweed Extract per litre of water, roughly half a cap at the lower end and just under a full cap at the upper end. Apply every 10-15 days during active growth; for a genuinely stressed plant, such as after transplanting or a heatwave, shorten this to every 10 days for 2-3 cycles before stretching back out.
Yes, seedlings and indoor plants are both listed among its suitable uses, along with lawns, turf, and kitchen or terrace gardens. Since it's a plant-derived extract with no bulk nutrients, it's gentle enough for young or delicate plants while still helping them push through stress.
Either works — apply it as a foliar spray on the leaves or drench it into the soil around the root zone. Foliar application tends to show results faster on an already-stressed plant, since the leaves absorb the extract directly rather than waiting for root uptake.
Seaweed Extract is a plant-derived concentrate of growth compounds, amino acids and trace elements with no living microbes involved, unlike Growth Sarthi's bacterial cultures. That's exactly why the two pair well together rather than replace each other — one feeds biology into the soil, the other feeds the plant's own nutrient efficiency.
Yes, that's one of its core uses — the formula is built to help plants push through moments that stall growth, including heat stress, transplant shock and general neglect. For a stressed plant, apply every 10 days for 2-3 cycles, then return to the normal 10-15 day schedule once it recovers.
Better leaf colour and steadier growth typically show within 2-3 applications. Fuller flowering and improved fruit-set take longer to build and generally develop over a complete flowering cycle rather than a couple of doses.
No — it's certified Residue-Free, Chemical-Free and 100% Organic, and the formula is biodegradable, so nothing lingers in the soil or on the foliage. That makes it suitable for kitchen gardens where you're growing plants you intend to eat.
The label shows 27% w/v total soluble solids, which is the seaweed extract itself along with its amino acids, carbohydrates and nutrients. The remaining portion, up to 73%, is aqueous adjuvants that keep the formula stable and biodegradable rather than inert filler.
Shake it well before every use, since the natural solids in the extract can settle over time. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of children's reach, and use it within 6 months of opening.
